1930s Mickey Mouse Spoon/Branford Silverplate

Mickey was still a relative newcomer to the comic scene in the 1930s having been launched by Walt Disney in the 1928 cartoon "Steamboat Willie."  Instantly popular, Mickey's image soon found its way to a myriad of products, including this child's spoon.  Needless to say, Mickey Mouse and his friends still grace thousands of products to this day, but this was one of the first!
