The note has vertical folds and a horizontal fold. The note is soiled with some staining. It has graffiti both on the front and the back. The note has no tears and no splits, it has no pinholes and its edges are mostly intact with minor roughness. Its corners are intact but has distinct rounding and minor bumping as well as some light staining. The note still retains some of its original stiffness. It is in a well circulated original state.     Description:
    A beautiful very fine banknote from Egypt. This is the February 7, 1950 one hundred pounds. The banknote is purple and green on the front. It has the image of King Farouk the first in a circular frame to the right and a green colored minaret to the left. The note is written in Arabic on the front with the serial number being in both Arabic and English. The back of the note is purple in color and depicts the image of the mosque and mausoleum of the Mamluk Sultan Q'atibay. The back is written in English and shows the name of the National Bank of Egypt and the denomination both in numerals and spelled out. The note has a watermark showing the head of the Sphinx. This particular note has the serial number 010876 and is series CD/2. The note was issued by the National Bank of Egypt and is signed by F. W. Leith-Ross, who was the governor of the National Bank of Egypt at the time. Please carefully review the scan provided as it is part and parcel of our description.
