Winther Motor Truck Company
, Preferred stock certificate #34 for 5 shares issued on November 8, 1919, not cancelled, about 9 by 12 ½ inches, signed by President M. P. Winther, in good condition.  According to the certificate, only 10,000 shares of preferred stock were issued so it is likely very few certificates representing the shares were ever created.
Martin Phillip Winther founded the Winther Motor Truck Company in Kenosha, Wisconsin in December, 1916 and produced many trucks for the military during World War I.  After the war, Winther began building and selling automobiles in addition to trucks.  Business was such that he sold the company in 1927.
