    Description

Pauls karts custom cam PKRPM3 camshaft

This cam is welded and ground for strength and longevity
This is where math takes engines to the next level. The last 7 years I have been engineering small engines. The highest quality engines I have produced need three things to work together. The head, camshaft and the carburetor. This cam is the best cam out of all the cams we tested (30+ cams) for use on big valve heads with raised compression ratio.
This is the best camshaft for use with the 14cc big valve heads I sell . I recommend Using the 14cc big valve complete head I sell paired with a 28mm carb And the PKRPM3 camshaft to get the absolute most out of your engine
This cam taps into the power between the cycles using one to supercharge the next.
Now my research cost me a lot of money .. so I don’t give out my cam specs “ sorry “ but I do know there will be no piston to valve clearance issues if you follow ratio rockers guide for max performance below.
    1.3 : 1 ratio rockers If head is milled       0 - .010”
    1.2 : 1 ratio rockers if head is milled .020” - .030”
    1.1 : 1 ratio rockers if head is milled .040” - .050”
    1.0 : 1 ratio rockers or Stock rockers if milled .060” - .080”
Again checking piston to valve clearance is still a highly recommended part of engine building and always a really good practice just in general. Remember .080” piston to valve clearance and .030” piston to head are the minimum clearance’s so don’t run any engine that is below those measurements .. you can easily check these clearances with clay and a caliper .. there are videos on my you tube channel Paul’s karts ..
    Thank you
    Paul
