Scale model of the massive #4 Vertical Rail Straightener produced by United Engineering & Foundry Company (later Mesta Machine) circa 1905. A massive HEAVY METAL piece for your layout.
Capacity to straighten any standard "tee" or girder rail.
    Weight with 10 horse-power electric motor, 77,000lbs. Floor space approx 8 x 8ft.
Speed, 50 strokes per minute when fly-wheel shaft runs 350 revolutions per minute. Gearing 9-inch face; ratio 7 to 1.
We love these old school machines with their dangerous exposed gearing and rapidly spinning flywheel. OSHA would never approve!

Scale model is for display and operating model railroad load / modelling and is not a child's toy. Static model only. No moving parts.
    FRAGILE!
