Vintage H RAY FORD Carved Walnut Quail on Manzanita Burl Base Sculpture Art

Up for auction is this vintage H. Ray Ford original carved and signed wooden art sculpture of a quail bird made of walnut sitting on a base made of manzanita burl wood.
Really nicely carved and a great piece of Americana folk art.
Looks to be in very good condition, the tip of the bird on top which is part of the wood and I suppose left to imitate a feather, has a tiny surface wear. Otherwise, the piece looks perfect. No cracks and no major issues whatsoever.
This sculpture displays beautifully from every angle!
Measures 6.1” inches long, 5” inches wide, and 4.75” inches tall.
Would make a fantastic display piece, fine addition to a collection, or a great gift!
