Vintage Mid Century Modern Gold Leaf Quail Pair, Plaster, Solid and Heavy

Description

Vintage pair of quail figurines. Solid and very heavy, weighing close to 3 lbs. The approximate sizes are 4 1/2" long, 3 1/2" wide. 4 3/4" H and 4" long, 3" wide and 3 1/2" H.
These are in very good condition without chips or cracks. Some few areas show a loss of gilding. Please see pics.
They appear to have a gold leaf finish.
Very nice detail on feathers. I think the poses and details create a very realistic look.
