1916, Delaware. 10 ¾” x 8 ¼” stock certificate for 10 shares. Brown/Black. Vignette of a spread eagle perched on a globe at top center. Signed as president by William C. Mack, one of the brothers who founded Mack Truck. Some light red staining at top center. Splits at folds with minor paper loss at one fold. Paper loss at bottom right corner. Overall very good. A rare certificate signed by one of the Mack Truck brothers. Mack Truck History: In 1893, John M. Mack and his brother Augustus F. Mack purchase the carriage and wagon factory Fallesen & Berry. The following year, 1894, their brother William C. Mack, who had operated a wagon-building plant in Scanton, PA joins the business.
